Fleetwood RV Presents NASCAR Driver Dale Jarrett With Keys to New 1999 American Heritage Motor Home

TALLADEGA, Ala.--April 24, 1999--Pat Terveer, director of sales and design for Fleetwood RV's American Coach Division, presented NASCAR driver Dale Jarrett and his family with the keys to a new 1999 Fleetwood American Heritage during an event held today at the Talladega Superspeedway.
"As a proud sponsor of Dale Jarrett and the Robert Yates Racing Team, Fleetwood RV is pleased to be able to provide the Jarrett family with an American Heritage for use as a convenient home base during race weekends," said Allison Hill, Fleetwood RV's events marketing manager. "Motor homes have proven themselves an essential `life at the track' amenity. RVs allow drivers, crew and staff more family together time during race weekends, and give fans a way to stay at the track in comfort without the hassle of making hotel arrangements and fighting traffic to get to the race."
The luxurious 45-foot American Heritage, manufactured in Decatur, Ind., offers numerous high-end features to be enjoyed by the Jarrett family and other Heritage owners, including: a 450 horsepower Cummins Turbo diesel engine, laminate interior, GPS navigational system and standard luxury leather interior. Other standard amenities include a 12-foot patio awning, hand-held CB radio, 54-inch slide-out storage tray, bathroom suite and spacious galley.
Fleetwood's three-year sponsorship agreement with Jarrett, signed in December 1997, includes the entire family of racers, including father Ned, a two-time NASCAR champion and current sportscaster; and son Jason, a Busch Grand National competitor.
In addition to Fleetwood RV's sponsorship of Jarrett and the Robert Yates Racing Team, Fleetwood supports Motor Racing Outreach, a Christian ministry that works at NASCAR events; sponsors three International Speedway Corp. (ISC) tracks and the Penske-owned California Speedway; and, offers maintenance and service to customers during select races.
