ARCA Kentucky Speedway Test April 3, 2001

2000 ARCA Series Champion Frank Kimmel posted quickest speed in his Ford Taurus today. ARCA Re/Max Series Teams were at Kentucky Speedway for this scheduled test in preparation for both the Nashville Speedway ARCA Re/Max event on Friday April 13, and the Kentucky 150 May 12th. Brian Yesowitch caught up with several of the drivers and team members and asked about their thoughts on the upcoming 2001 ARCA Re/Max Series season.

Jeep Pflum tested at 160.142
Bill Eversole, Ford Thunderbird, 154.905 *Re/Max Series Rookie
Jeff Caudell tested at 146.899.

AJ Henriksen, who had earlier tested his Ford Taurus, spun his Chevrolet Monte Carlo late in the day and made contact with the outer retaining wall. Henriksen was not injured however his car received rear-end damage in the incident.
