Motor Home Insurance
You chart your own course, traveling and experiencing
more than most Americans do in a lifetime. And with so many places to visit and sights
to see, you want nothing to stand between your motor home and a fabulous
travel destination.
That's why many companies designed a motor home insurance policy to help meet your unique needs.
Most Motor Home Policy Offers:*
- Liability Coverage
Bodily Injury Liability Protection: provides coverage if you
or a covered driver are legally liable in an accident in which
others are injured or killed.
Property Damage Liability Protection: provides coverage if
you or a covered driver are legally liable for damages to another
person's property resulting from an accident.
- Collision Coverage
Provides coverage for damage from an accident to your insured
motor home. Your deductible is not subtracted from the loss
payment in the event of a collision involving your motor home
and another vehicle insured by your insurer.
- Comprehensive Coverage
Provides coverage for damage to your insured motor home
caused by falling objects, fire, theft, vandalism, flood and
certain other non-collision losses.
And your sound system permanently installed by the
manufacturer is covered up to $2,500, less your policy
deductible.
- Contents Coverage
Provides coverage for loss or damage to your property
contained in your motor home when caused by fire or lightning.
This includes sound systems permanently installed in your motor
home that were not installed by the manufacturer, as well as
tapes or similar items used with sound systems.
- Medical Payments Coverage
Provides coverage if you, covered family members, or your
covered passengers receive necessary medical treatment,
services or products for bodily injury caused by a covered
accident.
- Personal Injury Protection Coverage (PIP)
Also called "no-fault" insurance. Although coverage varies by state, PIP typically provides coverage for you, covered family members, or your covered passengers for medical, rehabilitation, or funeral expenses,
even work loss, survivors' loss and essential services expenses caused
by covered accidents.
Tailor Your Motor Home Policy with Additional Coverages:*
- Uninsured & Underinsured Motorists Coverage
Provides coverage if you, a covered family member, or your
covered passengers are injured or killed in an accident
involving a driver who doesn't have insurance at all or who
doesn't have enough insurance to cover the damage they cause
you (respectively).
- Towing and Labor Costs Coverage
Most will pay the costs for labor done on your motor home at
the place of disablement and for necessary towing of your
motor home because of a disablement.
- Rental Reimbursement Coverage
Provides coverage for the cost of renting a motor home or
automobile if you purchase comprehensive and/or collision
coverage and the loss to your motor home involves either
coverage.
