Chrysler Group Introduces EX: Chrysler Town & Country EX and Dodge Grand Caravan EX

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 26 The Chrysler Group will add
two new entrees to its vast menu of all-new 2001 minivans.  Chrysler Town &
Country EX and Dodge Grand Caravan EX will be strategically placed right in
the heart of the minivan market.

    "We continue to dominate the top and bottom of the minivan market," said
Frank J. Ewasyshyn, Senior Vice President, Advance Manufacturing Engineering
and General Manager of Minivan Operations, DaimlerChrysler Corp.  "We're now
focusing even more on the heart of the minivan segment.  With our all-new 2001
Chrysler Town & Country EX and Dodge Grand Caravan EX, we'll attract new
minivan buyers in an extremely active part of the segment, where transaction
prices range from $26,000 and $27,000."

    Chrysler Town & Country EX and Dodge Grand Caravan EX are extended-
wheelbase minivans that feature an industry-first power up and down liftgate,
minivan-first power center console, minivan-first split 50/50 Easy Out(R)
roller seats, three-zone temperature control, four-wheel disc brakes with
traction control and a 215 horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine.  Other features
include a passenger side power sliding door, second row bucket seats, and 16-
inch tires and aluminum wheels.

    The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for Chrysler Town &
Country EX is $26,175, plus $655 destination and the MSRP for Dodge Grand
Caravan EX is $26,070, plus $655 destination.

    "With EX, we're offering industry- and minivan-first features that you
simply can't get anywhere else," said Ewasyshyn.  "And we're offering these
now at a great price right in the heart of the segment."

    Both models will arrive in Chrysler and Dodge dealerships by mid-March.
With the addition of these two EX models, the Chrysler Group now offers a
total of 17 minivan models from which to choose -- the greatest selection of
minivans in the marketplace.
