Mitsubishi Premier Of 2002 Galant at Chicago Auto Show

    WHAT:   Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America will conduct the world premier
            unveiling of the 2002 Galant sedan, built in Illinois at
            Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America's facility in
            Bloomington.

            The 2002 Galant, America's fastest growing Japanese midsize family
            sedan, will feature all-new styling enhancements.

            Mitsubishi Motors rally drivers Jutta Kleinschmidt, first female
            winner of the 2001 Paris-Dakar rally, along with Hiroshi Masuoka,
            veteran Mitsubishi desert racer, will be on hand to help celebrate
            Mitsubishi's motorsports victories.

    WHERE:  Mitsubishi Motors exhibit at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show
            McCormick Place South, Lake Shore Drive at 23rd St.

    WHO:    Pierre Gagnon, executive vice president and chief operating
            officer, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, will discuss
            Mitsubishi Motors' new products and sales success.

            Jutta Kleinschmidt, Mitsubishi Motors' race driver and winner of
            the 2001 Paris-Dakar desert race in Africa, is the first woman
            ever to win the 21-day, 6,200 mile race, driving her race-prepared
            Mitsubishi Montero SUV.

            Hiroshi Masuoka, Mitsubishi Motors' race driver and veteran
            Paris-Dakar and Baja desert race driver, placed second overall in
            the 2001 Paris-Dakar and won first place in his class at last
            years' legendary Baja 2000 race in Mexico.
