The Favorite Cars of January 2001
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 20 InvoiceDealers, The Leader in
Automotive Comparison Shopping, released the favorite cars, trucks, SUVs and
minivans of online comparison shoppers in January 2001.
January 2001 Results
-- The Honda Accord finished January as it ended the year 2000: in
first place. The Honda Civic and Toyota Camry followed suit, placing
second and third once again.
-- The Ford F-Series truck continued its reign as the most popular truck.
But the Chevrolet Silverado turned in the closest second place finish
yet.
-- The Ford Escape won the hearts of SUV shoppers in January, carrying
over the faithful fans who put it on top during the last 2 months of
2000.
-- The Honda Odyssey took round one in the minivan competition, reclaiming
it from the Toyota Sienna. The two traded places almost monthly in
2000, jostling for top billing in their category.
