Amerityre Corporation Updates Status of Air/No Air Automobile Tire

BOULDER CITY, Nev., Feb. 22 Amerityre Corporation announced that it has
completed in-house testing of its prototype polyurethane air/no air automobile
tire. The tire has now been mechanically tested with a 2,000-pound load
without any pressurized air. The new tire design may also be utilized with
pressurized air. Amerityre is now conducting preliminary structure testing of
four prototype tires on a pickup truck at its Las Vegas facility.

Richard A. Steinke, President and C.E.O., said Amerityre has been
developing the tire technology for the past 5 years. The materials for the
polyurethane tire have now undergone testing by two independent test labs, a
major tire company, and Amerityre itself. The major tire company reported to
Amerityre that the tire material chemistry passed all of their tests
satisfactorily. Mr. Steinke said that Amerityre has filed for worldwide
patent protection on the tire technology for both urethane and rubber
applications.

Mr. Steinke further stated that Amerityre's current business strategy is
to consider one or more relationships with industry partners for further
development of the technology.

James G. Moore, Vice President of Operation, Amerityre said the technology
was developed after studying the problems associated with tire construction
problems and flat tires. Mr. Moore also said that during the evolution of the
technology Amerityre has developed a mechanical design procedure, which
provides for design and testing of a tire before it is manufactured. Using
Amerityre's mechanical design procedure, the tire can be tested with both
horizontal and vertical loads and with or without air.

Amerityre's tire manufacturing technology allows for production of tires
that are perfectly balanced and round, resulting in a smooth ride. The
monolithic design of the tire eliminates tread separations and the low
pressurization eliminates blowouts. The tire is designed to be used with
traditional tire reinforcement, including polyester, glass, nylon, or steel.
Although the tire is designed for use with low air pressurization, Amerityre's
tests show it can safely carry a load for hundreds of miles without air. The
tires are environmentally safe and totally recyclable.
