Tiger Has New Bag For Buick Classic; Awesome Fivesome For Pro Am

Detroit - To commemorate the official launch of the all new 2002 Buick Rendezvous, Buick spokesman Tiger Woods will play with a special golf bag during this week's Buick Classic at Westchester Country Club in New York.

This bag is similar to the Buick bag he normally carries, except the name "Rendezvous" has been added underneath Buick and a red stripe has been added to the collar and along the base.

The first time the bag will be exposed to the public is Wednesday, June 20, during the Buick Classic Pro-Am. ABC's Good Morning America will interview Woods during live cut-ins. Tiger's fivesome for the day includes . . .

• Chuck Campagna from Sid Dilon Buick in Freemont, Neb.

Jack Ford will golf and interview Woods during the round. Campagna is the winner from a Buick sales contest.

"Everything we have done to launch the Rendezvous has been out of the ordinary," said Bowen. "Having Tiger carry this bag during the Buick Classic marks the official start of sales for this crossover vehicle."

Woods has carried a Buick golf bag since entering into a relationship with Buick. He will go back to the original Buick bag after the Classic.
