Alamo Offers "Drive Home USA" Rate With Unlimited Mileage and No Drop Charges

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Sept. 14, 2001--In light of the current soaring demand for one-way rental car services, Alamo is offering a special Drive Home USA flat rate of $49.95 throughout the United States. This rate, valid through October 5, includes unlimited mileage, and no blackout dates or drop off fees.

    This offer is available for compact, intermediate, and full-size cars for pick up at participating Alamo locations in the United States. Customers needing a one-way rental should contact Alamo at 1-800-GOALAMO or alamo.com and request Rate Code DH.
    Taxes (including VLF taxes up to US$2.06 per day in California), other governmentally-authorized or imposed surcharges, license recoupment fees, airport and airport facility fees, fuel, additional driver fee and optional items, such as LDW, are extra. Concession recoupment fees of up to 12% may be added to the rental rate at some on-airport locations. Up to 10% may be added to the rental rate if you rent at an off-airport location and exit on our shuttle bus. Renter must meet standard age, driver and credit requirements.
