The Favorite Cars of Comparison Shoppers: September 2001
PALO ALTO, Calif.--Oct. 17, 2001--InvoiceDealers, a pioneer in automotive Internet marketing, released the favorite cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans of online comparison shoppers in September 2001.September 2001 Results:
The Ford F-Series ended a five-month absence as the Overall Most Requested Vehicle, regaining top status in September. It also continued its dominance as the Favorite Truck.
The Honda Civic won the latest round in Favorite Cars, taking first place from its sibling, the Honda Accord. The Civic also finished second in Overall Most Requested Vehicles.
The Ford Explorer and Chevrolet Tahoe remained in first and second place respectively in the Sport Utility Vehicle category. The Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Yukon debuted in SUVs for the first time this year.
The Honda Odyssey stayed in first place amongst Minivans. The Ford Windstar followed at second, its highest ranking in the Minivan category for the past three years.
