JIM RUSSELL TO OPERATE SEARS POINT KARTING CENTER

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

JIM RUSSELL TO OPERATE SEARS POINT KARTING CENTER

SONOMA, CALIF. (November 20, 2001) —Beginning in 2002 Sears Point Raceway
will feature a state-of-the-art karting facility operated by the Jim Russell
Racing Drivers School.

Built as part of a $50 million Modernization Plan at Sears Point, the
Karting Center is expected to be operational in March, 2002. The facility
which has been designed to international standards, will be able to host
international karting championships on it’s three-quarters of a mile track,
and will feature up to five different configurations.

Jim Russell will offer a wide variety of racing programs that will create a
ladder system, beginning with Kadet Programs and moving through Sprint kart
classes, to Shifter classes, to an arrive-and-drive kart racing series that
feeds into the USAC Formula Russell Championship Series in full sized
racecars. Ultimately, the ladder leads to an opportunity with a team in the
prestigious U.S. F2000 National Championship.

Since 2000, the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School and the U.S. F2000
National Championship have formed a strategic partnership to assist drivers
in moving up the motorsports ladder. The Jim Russell Racing Drivers School
has been teaching the art of auto racing since 1957, with past graduates
including Jacques Villeneuve, Jimmy Vasser and Emerson Fittipaldi, while the
U.S. F2000 National Championship is considered North America’s premier
open-wheel training series and has had graduates including the late Greg
Moore, Sam Hornish Jr. and Memo Gidley.
