AAA Pays Special Tribute to New York City

    AAA will make a special award to New York City in recognition of its standards of excellence for courage and patriotism. Mayor Rudolph Giuliani will be accepting the award for the city. Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn, Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Seymour and actor Michael Nouri will also be on hand.
    In support of New York City tourism and to reflect its importance as a travel destination, AAA has created this special award to honor the city's perseverance and resilience.
    AAA's coveted Five Diamond Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the hospitality industry and it is presented only to those world-class properties that provide the highest quality in service and facilities, and reflect the ultimate in luxury and sophistication.
    The award presentation is part of a special dinner honoring Mayor Giuliani and New York City's firefighters. The dinner was arranged by American Tours International, a AAA travel partner, as part of a larger tour package.
