New Grand Marquis to be Built in Canada

TORONTO, Feb. 6 Lincoln Mercury is today unveiling the new 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis at the Chicago Auto Show. The press release and photos are available on http://media.ford.com. The new Grand Marquis will be built in Canada at Ford's St. Thomas Assembly Plant. Located near London, Ontario, Ford's St. Thomas Assembly Plant is the exclusive, global source of Mercury Grand Marquis and Ford Crown Victoria sedans. A two-shift operation that employs 2,900 people, St. Thomas Assembly produced 202,000 vehicles in 2001 and has produced over 7 million since it opened in 1967.
