Environmental Engine Project Revealed

DEXTER, MI--(INTERNET WIRE)--Mar 19, 2002 -- A radically new "Low Tech" engine was announced today, which promises to cut emissions, improve fuel economy, increase power and dramatically reduce costs to consumers and manufacturers. TecTransfer, Inc., (TTI), made a previously secret development program public today. President Ronald Farrington Sharp said, "Now that our patents are in place, we believe there is no longer a need to keep the project under wraps. The environment cannot wait."

This new engine technology, called NGEN, has one-tenth the number of parts of a conventional 4 cycle internal combustion piston engine. "The simple but unique rotational design uses the basic principles of physics to increase power and fuel efficiency while at the same time reducing emissions," stated Sharp.

Having cut the number of parts by ninety percent, the NGEN weighs much less than conventional engines resulting in greater fuel economy when used in a vehicle. This will also mean greater reliability and lower manufacturing costs.

A German engineering firm refined and engineered the NGEN concept and built a working prototype in a two year secret development project in its Auburn Hills, Michigan plant. TecTransfer, Inc., located in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area owns all the rights to the engine, its patents and trade secrets. The company is currently negotiating with several groups for venture capital to complete development and marketing of the NGEN. "We have not inked a deal yet, and are open to inquiries until we do. We are anxious to get this technology into the marketplace. The economy needs it and the environment needs it. We are looking for an environmentally minded investor though we believe there is tremendous profit potential," said Charles W. Gamble, CEO.

"The NGEN will not require complex high tech and expensive computer controls to meet emission standards. It will perform as well or better than existing engines for a far lower cost. This is a major innovation in engine technology that will greatly benefit the consumer, the environment, and industry. It will also be a superior choice for the automotive hybrid engine," Gamble stated.

The NGEN can be scaled for use in vehicles, boats, lawn and garden equipment, recreational and industrial equipment, and in virtually any application currently being served by conventional two and four cycle engines. Its ability to run on various fuels, including methane, gasoline, diesel, alcohol, and aviation fuel makes it a very adaptable engine for a multitude of uses worldwide.
