Fuddruckers 'Hot Rods and Harleys' Car Shows to Benefit Houston's Last Alarm Club

HOUSTON, March 26 -- It all started a few years ago at the suggestion of a guest, who was a retired firefighter. Mike Barginear, Director of Operations for the Fuddruckers restaurants in Houston was so impressed by what he heard about The Last Alarm Club that he became a full- time cheerleader and organizer for his hometown firefighters and this charity that benefits its fallen heroes.

``This gentleman owned shop car-detailing shops. The idea of having the Hot Rod shows just evolved naturally to benefit our firefighters,'' says Barginear.

The next ``Hot Rods and Harleys Show'' will take place at Fuddruckers Chimney Rock location on Saturday, April 6th. Other shows will follow April 27th at the Clear Lake Fuddruckers and May 18th at Tidwell.

All the proceeds from the entrance fees of $10 for advance entry and $15 the day of the show, go to the Houston Last Alarm Club. ``So far we have raised $11,000 for the club with a benefit night held on February 28th. These shows will raise thousands more,'' says Barginear.
