Background:
DeWALT, the familiar yellow-and-black power tool company, launched the Million Dollar Challenge earlier this year to see who's quickest with a cordless drill.

From April through August DeWALT held qualifying events in more than 100 cities nationwide, stopping at various power tool distributors, construction sites, NASCAR races, and other special venues to see who could drive five screws the fastest in a piece of wood. Nearly 30,000 contestants participated in the qualifying events.
