Wheel Industry Council Publishes Installation Guide

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2002) -- The fact that wheels are still round is one of only a few constants in today’s automotive
wheel business.

The continual debut of new wheel products and their complexity spurred SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, and
its Wheel Industry Council to develop a wheel and tire installation-guidelines poster.

The poster is available to wheel and tire retailers, installers and restylers from WIC members, and WIC members also can include
reduced-size versions of the poster in their catalogs and new wheels and products packaging.

The bi-lingual poster (English and Spanish) contains information and illustrations on special handling and equipment needed to
install specialty wheels properly and protect their surface finishes.

"The members of the Wheel Industry Council worked at length to develop this poster, making certain it met all the needs and
requirements of our industry," said WIC Chairman Sheldon Miller, Samco Distributing Inc., Riverside, Calif. "Their time and energy
were instrumental in the project’s long development process."

WIC-member companies may obtain 100 posters at no charge from Paul Moritz at SEMA, paulm@sema.org, or 909/396-0289, ext.
112. Quantities of more than 100 are available at a minimal cost.
The poster may be viewed online at www.sema.org/wicposter.
