New Technology Now Available To Help Parents Monitor Their Teen Drivers

CLEVELAND, Nov. 19, 2002; Now parents can monitor their kids driving habits with new software called TEEN-TRAK that uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. This service was created with parents in mind to help alleviate concerns and fears when their teens drive alone or at a higher rate of speed.

This system helps parents view the travel routes, speeds and stops of their vehicles, right on their PC! If drivers are speeding they are more likely to get tickets, which increase the family's insurance rates. By monitoring the speed of their teens, parents are able to correct the problems before an accident happens or before the teen starts getting speeding tickets.

The GPS Receiver is installed into the back window to receive GPS info and the sending and receiving device mounts under the seat or in a trunk. A new website has been created at www.teen-trak.com where parents can place an order for the service.

Once this technology was only available to government and military organizations at a cost in the hundreds of millions. Tele-Trak has taken this specialty business market and made it extremely affordable for parents. For less than one dollar a day monitoring fee and a one-time installation fee of $75, parents can rest easy knowing where their child is at all times. A short-term contract is all that is required. After which time, parents can renew if they so desire.
