Scion to Launch First Two Products - xA and xB - At The 2003 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show

TORRANCE, Calif., Dec. 19, 2002; Scion, the new car marque from Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., will unveil its first two production models, the xA and xB, at a press conference at the 2003 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show.

The xB is based on the bbX concept that was first introduced at the 2002 New York Auto Show. The second vehicle, xA, is all-new for the North American market. Scion will offer new products, a new culture and a new approach to selling that is fresh and custom tailored to meet the needs of an emerging generation of new car buyers.

The Scion press conference will be held at the Scion exhibit in the South Hall at 2:45 p.m. PST, Thursday, January 2, 2003. Also on Thursday, a separate media reception will be held at a second Scion display area in Kentia Hall shortly after the press conference concludes.
