2004 Chrysler Pacifica Will Ride on Michelin Tires

GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 2, 2003; When the all-new 2004 Chrysler Pacifica sports tourer goes on sale next spring, customers will be able to drive confidently with the comfort and security they've come to expect from Michelin. The 2004 Chrysler Pacifica will feature Michelin® P235/65 R17 Energy MXV4 Plus(TM) tires, the most frequently selected, luxury touring performance tire for high-end vehicles.

The Chrysler Group worked hard to make the Pacifica an alluring vehicle that delivers the ultimate sports touring experience. With a collaborative effort between Michelin and Chrysler engineers, Chrysler's objectives were met and exceeded. Michelin is the only tire fitted to the Pacifica.

"The performance handling characteristics of the Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus Tires make them a natural choice for the Chrysler Pacifica and its touring oriented design," said Tom Chubb, vice president of marketing, Michelin Automotive Industry Division. "Chrysler Pacifica consumers will be delighted with the excellent performance, handling and comfort that the Michelin tires deliver."

Chubb added that since every Chrysler Pacifica will come standard with Michelin tires, consumers gain the added peace of mind knowing that every tire on their new vehicle has been hand-inspected for quality. Michelin is constantly recognized for the highest customer satisfaction and has more than 100 years of experience delivering mobility products to travelers.

Because Michelin and Chrysler engineers worked hand-in-hand throughout the vehicle development process, the performance and handling characteristics of the Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tires are superbly tuned to empower the driver and deliver control, comfort and confidence on the road. The result is truly a state-of-the-art driving experience.

In addition to the Chrysler Pacifica, Michelin Tires may be found on several other popular 2003 Chrysler Group vehicles including the Chrysler 300M Special, Chrysler Concorde Limited, Dodge Stratus R/T, Dodge Viper, Jeep® Grand Cherokee, Dodge Ram Pickup DR1500 and the Dodge Ram Pickup DR2500.
