Super Sport Roadster on Sale This Summer

DETROIT - Chevy's new SSR will have a base manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $41,995 when regular retail production and shipment to Chevrolet dealers begins in Summer 2003. Destination charge of $625 is included in the MSRP.

Pricing of the unique SSR Signature Series models, optional equipment and for the line of vehicle accessories has not yet been finalized.

Part Roadster, Part Pickup There is nothing else like the SSR in the market today. It's part open-air roadster, part pickup and a completely innovative expression of Chevy's proud heritage. A highlight of SSR's design is a unique power-operated retractable hardtop that stores vertically in a compartment between the passenger and rear storage compartments.

The Signature Series Announced on December 4, 2002, the 25 Signature Series models are the first saleable production vehicles. One-of-a-kind "pedigrees" will be created for each of these unique vehicles as they are used in a variety of high-profile activities prior to being offered for sale through auctions during the 2003 calendar year.
