North American International Auto Show Opening Weekend to Feature Fashion Show

DETROIT, Jan. 9, 2003 The 2003 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) has added a series of fashion shows to its opening weekend entertainment lineup. Sponsored by The Somerset Collection in Troy, the fashion shows will feature clothing and gear provided by Somerset retailers designed to pique the interest of the many show-goers expected to visit the NAIAS during its first two days of public access.

The fashion shows will be held on the NAIAS Stage in Michigan Hall (lower level of Cobo Center). Show times are 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12. No extra ticket or admission is required. Public Days for the NAIAS are Saturday, Jan. 11 through Monday, Jan. 20. Show hours are 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. from Jan. 11 through 19, and 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). No admittance one hour prior to show closing. Ticket prices are as follows:

Adult: $12 Senior Citizen (65 and older): $6 Children under 12 (must be accompanied by an adult): free

In addition to the on-site ticket window at Cobo, E-Tickets are also available by logging on to http://www.naias.com . E-Ticket orders will provide a voucher to be redeemed for show tickets at the E-Ticket window at Cobo. Each order must be picked up in its entirety.
