Huh? "For Security Purposes Veteran Auto/Boat Show Producer Will Cease Crowd Count Info"

PLAYA DEL REY, Calif.--Jan. 21, 2003--William A. Schultz, Executive Director of Auto Dealer Shows, Inc. and a producer of West Coast automotive and boat exhibitions for 35 years has announced he will no longer divulge event attendance figures in support of homeland security.
"Generally we issue attendance figures at the end of a show as a public relations endeavor to indicate the acceptance of the event," Schultz said. "But in these times of heightened security throughout our country I don't feel it necessary to further underscore our leisure activities."
Auto Dealer Shows recently concluded the ninth San Jose International Auto Show and will produce the Inland Empire Auto Show in Ontario, CA February 26-March 2, 2003.
