Oak Grove Acres Opens Campgrounds to the Public for the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Celebration and Surrounding Events

OAK GROVE ACRES, Wis., Feb. 12 -- The Zahn Family of Juneau, Wisconsin announced today that they are hosting a campground for riders attending the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Celebration in Milwaukee, WI. Oak Grove Acres will be open to motorcycles, autos, buses and RVs from August 25, 2003 through September 1, 2003.

Oak Grove Acres is located 45 minutes west of Milwaukee, 45 minutes east of Madison and 45 minutes south of Oshkosh. Oak Grove Acres provides central access to all of the events scheduled throughout Wisconsin for the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Celebration.

The Oak Grove Acres grounds occupy 60 acres of lush farmland allowing for triple-sized campsites. Arrangements have been made for portable toilets, hot showers, and a concessions stand for necessities such as ice, soda, and water. A hot breakfast will be available daily.

Oak Grove Acres is a quality alternative to costly hotel/motel lodging. Oak Grove Acres offers a group discount of $15/adult for groups of six or more persons. The early registration discount of $10/adult ends April 15, 2003. Attendees can place reservations by telephone at (1-877-HOGS-100) or Internet site (www.oakgroveacres.com).

Given the current rate of response, Oak Grove Acres anticipates that reservations will fill the campground to a planned 10,000-person limit by June 1st, 2003.

ABOUT OAK GROVE ACRES

Oak Grove Acres is owned by the Zahn family. Grandfather, Bill Zahn, began farming just south of Juneau in Dodge County, Wisconsin in 1932. Three generations of the Zahn family have been loyal Harley-Davidson motorcyclists since the 1930s. The idea to host a campground came to the family back in 1998 during the 95th anniversary celebration. After visiting with many of the Harley-Davidson enthusiasts that came to Milwaukee, the Zahn Family realized that their farm, just 45 minutes from Milwaukee, would be an ideal location to host a campground for the 100th Anniversary celebration. Father, James Zahn, and son, Jonas Zahn, have been making plans ever since. The Zahn family gives a warm welcome to all riders coming to Wisconsin from across the US and around the world to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Harley-Davidson.
