Nissan North America Reports March Sales; Infiniti Sells More Than 10,000 Units for the First Time to Complete the Division's Best Month Ever
GARDENA, Calif.--April 1, 2003--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported March total sales of 69,461 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 5.3 percent decrease versus March of last year. NNA reports selling 175,895 units calendar year-to-date, a 5.7 percent decrease from last year at this time.INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- Nissan-brand sales for March totaled 58,783 units, a 9.7
percent decrease from last March
-- Altima had its second best month ever in March with 20,310
units sold, an 11.5 percent increase from last March
-- The all-new Murano sales continue to climb each month with
4,386 units sold in March
-- Calendar year-to-date Nissan sales are down 11.1 percent from
last March with 149,591 units sold

-- Combined March sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 69,461

-- Sales of NNA's North American-produced vehicles for February
totaled 41,907, representing 71.3 percent of all NNA vehicles
sold in the United States
