March Acura Sales Increase 24 Percent Compared to February
TORRANCE, Calif., April 1 -- March sales of Acura vehicles totaled 14,043, up 24 percent compared to last month, Acura announced today. It was the second straight month of increasing sales for the division.
Demand continued to be strong for the MDX luxury SUV with sales of 4,887 pushing Acura light truck year-to-date sales to 13,212, up 4.0 percent compared to March 2002 and 8.3 percent compared to last month. Acura division automobile sales totaled 9,156 with TL sales climbing to 5,536 and RSX sales reaching 2,125.
The all-new 2004 TSX sports sedan goes on sale this week. The TSX features a 2.4-liter 200-horsepower engine, choice of 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission, drive-by-wire throttle, a race-bred suspension and a comprehensively equipped interior.
