Subaru Announces Pricing on 2004MY Impreza Models

CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 7 -- Subaru of America, Inc., the only manufacturer to have all-wheel drive as standard equipment on every vehicle they make, announced today the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for 2004 model year Impreza models. The 2004 model year Impreza WRX Sedan is now available with a Premium Package, while all models, including the 2.5 RS Sedan, 2.5 TS Sport Wagon, and Outback Sport receive new features and restyling for a more refined and sportier image.

All models receive a restyled hood, front fenders, headlights, grille treatment, front and rear bumpers, and rear taillights. The 2004 Impreza 2.5 TS and Outback Sport models now feature four wheel disc brakes, and all models receive Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), in-glass antenna, and a safety brake pedal system.

WRX

Impreza WRX Sedan models are now available with a Premium Package enhancing the value of this popular sports sedan. This package features a power moonroof, rear spoiler, dual-mode heated front seats, windshield wiper de-icer, and heated exterior mirrors. Suggested MSRP for Impreza WRX with Premium Package is $25,995 for manual transmission, and $26,995 for the optional 4-speed electronic automatic transmission. In addition, the WRX Sedan and Sport Wagon now feature a larger hood scoop and projector beam halogen foglights.

2.5 RS Sedan, 2.5 TS Sport Wagon and Outback Sport

The 2.5 RS Sedan now includes active front seat head restraints as standard equipment. The 2.5 TS Sport Wagon receives a remote keyless entry system, four wheel disc brakes, and active front seat head restraints as standard equipment. Outback Sport gets a new lower body color - Steel Gray Metallic, as well as projector beam halogen foglights, four wheel disc brakes, and the active front seat head restraints.

The 2004 model year Impreza meets all Federal Passenger Car Safety Standards. These models comply with Low Emission Vehicle Standards and are certified for sale in all 50 states. The 2004MY Impreza features the peace of mind of standard 24-hour roadside assistance coverage for 3 years or 36,000 miles.
