The Auto Channel would like to welcome a couple (literally) of exciting and talented contributors to our site.

Manrico Delcore & Mary Beth Debicki are an American husband-and-wife team of photojournalists who specialize in vehicle-based adventure travel. They have been writing together for twelve years and their travels have taken them from the frozen expanses of Labrador to the Australian Outback and from deep in the Kalahari to the rainforests of Central America.

In addition to regularly published travel and “how-to” articles in Four Wheeler, their work (over 100 articles) has appeared in Motor Trend’s Truck-Trend, Land Rover Owner International, Off-Road, Land Rover Monthly, Sportsman’s Off the Road Journal, Centre Lines, Land Rover Journal, Outside as well as on a number of websites (forbes.com, truckworld.com, worldoffroad.com).

They have been avid outdoors people, enthusiastic world travelers and confident academic writers for many years, but it wasn’t until the early 90s that they forged a joint career from these three elements of their lives…their academic fields of history, anthropology, geology and law together with a love of exploring new places.

Manrico & Mary Beth enjoy conveying the excitement of travel, whether investigating the mystery of the Anasazi past, or the danger and majesty of life in the African bush. they want their readers to be inspired by their vicarious travel but also to learn something from the experience.
