Land Rover Driving School Concludes Relationship With Equinox Hotel

IRVINE, Calif., April 18 -- Land Rover North America announced today that it has concluded its agreement with the Equinox Hotel in Manchester, VT to operate an off-road driving school on the property.

"We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the property and the town of Manchester for many years," said Bob Burns, National Training and Off-Road Demonstration Manager for Land Rover. "More than 8,000 persons have been through the school in Land Rover vehicles making the experience one of the area's most successful attractions."

Land Rover will continue to operate and expand its driving school at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Burns said the company has plans to open driving schools in other parts of the U.S. but sites have not yet been finalized.

Land Rover North America is part of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover with headquarters in Irvine, California. Land Rover established operations in the US in 1986, and now imports and distributes Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander vehicles manufactured by Land Rover in Solihull, England. Land Rover's worldwide operations are wholly owned by Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan.
