Kawasaki Dealers Nationwide Offering $250 Good Times(TM) Customer Cash to Active and Reserve U.S. Military Personnel

Discount Can be Applied to Motorcycles, ATVs, or JET SKI(R) Personal Watercraft, and Can be Combined With Other Current Offers to General Public

IRVINE, Calif., May 22 -- Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., and its dealers have launched a promotion extending through July 31, 2003 that provides active and reserve military personnel an even greater incentive to take advantage of the promotion prior to the end of May.

The offer, dubbed "Good Times(TM) Customer Cash" allows the buyer to combine a $250 discount military offer with other promotions currently available in Kawasaki dealerships that extend through May 31.

Included in the existing promotional offers are the "May '03 Good Times Customer Cash" program that covers various motorcycles with amounts ranging from $200 to $1,100. Additionally, the "Spring '03 Good Times Customer Cash" program, which applies to various Kawasaki JET SKI watercraft models, offers cash back up to $1,000 on select models.

All offers can be taken as cash rebates, or applied to the purchase price of the vehicle or accessories. The option belongs to the customer.

According to Tony Murr, Kawasaki Vice President, Sales, "This represents the most extensive offer we've ever made to the military community. The $250 Customer Cash program is a unique way for us to thank the nation's servicemen and women, and the ability to combine this offer with the other programs that had already been announced is truly significant."

Murr stressed that the military offer applies to any new, not previously registered motorcycles, ATV, and JET SKI watercraft at all Kawasaki dealerships prior to the end of July.

"We're not just talking about current models," said Murr. "Any new motorcycle, ATV, or JET SKI that the dealer still has on his showroom floor is eligible, so the customer can make their best deal -- then reap the benefits with additional cash back."

The company is delivering its promotional message through advertising in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Times, as well as through military.com .
