50-YEAR CORVETTE TIMELINE TO BE ON DISPLAY AT MID-OHIO

DUBLIN, Ohio (June 5, 2003) - In order to properly celebrate Corvette's 50th
Anniversary, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, has issued a
unique challenge to Corvette owners everywhere. The 50th Anniversary
Enthusiasts Challenge calls on Corvette owners to register their cars to
represent a year in the storied timeline to be displayed on Sunday of the
Sprint Vintage Grand Prix, June 20-22.

The 50th Anniversary Enthusiasts Challenge is a physical timeline of this
classic American automobile. Each entry will be awarded two complimentary
weekend tickets to the Sprint Vintage Grand Prix for participation.

Challenge link. Only the first representative from each model year will be
selected, and all remaining unclaimed years are posted on the website.

The 50th Anniversary Enthusiasts Challenge is part of Sunday's Concours
d'Elegance car show, open to all makes and models. On Saturday, June 21, the
British Car Showdown features popular cars from the United Kingdom. Either
show is free to enter with the purchase of a general admission ticket to the
Sprint Vintage Grand Prix. Participants can register in the infield of
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on the day of the event. All entrants receive a
commemorative souvenir, and are invited to take part in a parade lap around
Mid-Ohio's 2.4-mile track during the lunch period each day.

The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association provides the weekend's on-track
action, and is highlighted by a Historic GTP race, BOSS Series race and an
all-Corvette feature race.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is located approximately halfway between Columbus
and Cleveland, off Interstate 71. Commonly referred to as the "Most
Competitive in the U.S.," Mid-Ohio hosts six motorsports events throughout
the summer, beginning with the Sprint Vintage Grand Prix and including the
Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire, July 25-27, and the
