RV Rally Searches for Its Own Rally Idol Star at Oak Ridge Boys Concert and Be a Star on RVtoday!

LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 16 -- Who will be the first Rally Idol? This week, the Great North American RV Rally search for a singing star is on in Louisville, Kentucky. RV owners are uncovering their inner diva or Sinatra (along with some Elvis impersonators) and will be belting out their version of their favorite song in front of fellow rally-goers from all over the United States and Canada.

All participants will perform in front of an enthusiastic audience and panel of RVtoday judges. The top finalists will perform on the main stage in front of Rally attendees Wednesday night. The rally audience will vote to choose the winner who will then perform solo before the entire rally audience on closing night before the Oak Ridge Boys concert. The winner will star in a segment of RVtoday; the only national television program dedicated to the RV lifestyle. The well-known RVtoday hosts are serving as judges for the event.

"The Rally Idol competition is shaping up to be a hotly contested event," said Rally show producer, Bev Dalton. "We have more than 35 contestants who have been rehearsing for months. The chance to perform live in an Oak Ridge Boys concert and to star on a TV show has been quite a draw."

Performances may be scheduled during the following times: Monday, June 16: 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 18: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

"RVers love to have fun," stated Dalton. "This promises to be a whole lot of fun, and extremely entertaining for everyone involved."

This week thousands of recreational vehicle owners, better known as RVers, will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky for the Great North American RV Rally. This is the first time the Rally will be hosted by Louisville and the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center (KFEC). Affinity Group, Inc. (AGI), rv.net, and its brand divisions annually sponsor the Great North American RV Rally (GNARR). The four-day event includes hundreds of exhibits, new RVs, RV products, tours to area attractions, entertainment and daily seminars.

There are 25 sponsors for the Great North American Rally, headed by AGI brand divisions: the Good Sam Club, Coast to Coast, Camping World, Golf Card, TLE Publications and Woodall's.
