Company Continues Ongoing Production in Fulfillment of Contracts

CHARLESTON, S.C., July 17 -- Sonic Jet Performance, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SJET) announced today that its subsidiary, Technical Solutions Group (TSG) completed delivery in June of one Buffalo Mine Protected Vehicles (MPVs) in partial fulfillment of contracted sales awarded last year.

TSG's Buffalo is one of the most advanced MPVs in the world, with multiple mission configurations and specifically designed field reparability. The vehicle design mates South African monocoque capsule technology with the latest in American automotive technology to produce a vehicle with the best protection, load carrying capacity, interior space, visibility, and parts availability of any vehicle in its class. The Buffalo's design also results in the only mine-protected vehicle ("MPV") currently on the market in its class with full 360-degree occupant protection. The vehicle withstands a triple-stacked land mine (45 lbs of TNT) on any wheel as well as a double-stacked land mine (30 lbs of TNT) anywhere under the vehicle. It provides ballistic armor to 7.62 NATO ball, upgradeable to Dragunov AP. This means the Buffalo is effective against 99.9% of the world's landmines making it the best-protected vehicle in the world. Self-Forming Fragmentation (SFF) plates are available as an option to defeat the latest generation of Self-Forming Fragmentation mines. With its capacity to clear in excess of 1,000 land mines each hour, the Buffalo is one of the most efficient and comprehensive mine clearing systems in existence. TSG President Garth Barrett remarked, "We're excited that we have been able to meet the production goals we've set for ourselves. This vehicle now has the potential to be used to great advantage in an area where the toll of landmines is devastating."

Michael Watts, Sonic Jet's CEO discussed the need for Mine Protected Vehicles: "Troop movements in operations overseas face a continuous threat of loss of life because of land mines. In addition, landmine fields can force troops to travel through routes that are not strategically sound, exposing them to increased possibility of ambush and enemy fire. Vehicles that can move troops or ordnance economically and safely are in high demand. Current options don't provide the required protection in relation to the cost of the vehicle." In addition to standard wartime and peacekeeping mission uses, TSG's armored vehicles can be helpful in many situations. Mr. Watts continued, "Embassies, consulates, and other U.S. government offices require vehicles to safely transport their personnel at low cost. U.S. Law enforcement agencies have a pressing need to move personnel safely in dangerous situations, such as riots or standoffs with armed militant groups. Companies charged with rebuilding war-torn locations require protection for their engineers, crews, and executives."

The company anticipates delivery of one or more vehicles per month until the current contract obligations are fulfilled.
