Japanese Car Scorecard -June 2003
TOKYO, July 28, 2003; Reuters reported that Japan's largest automaker, Toyota
Motor Corp, said on Monday its global output rose 14.5
percent in June from a year earlier to 528,137 vehicles.
Output at second-biggest Honda Motor Co grew 0.2
percent to 244,119 units, while third-ranked Nissan Motor Co
produced 248,429 vehicles worldwide, up 11.3 percent.
The following are figures for domestic output, domestic
sales, exports and overseas output of vehicles at Japan's five
leading carmakers for June, with percentage changes from the year
before.
