EagleRider, World's Largest Renter of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Will Offer Travel Agents 40% Commission

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 -- EagleRider, the world's largest renter of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, announced today that it will offer travel agents a 40% commission on motorcycle rentals of one week or more from Nov. 1, 2003, through Feb. 2, 20040, 2004, at its participating locations. EagleRider currently offers travel agents a healthy 10% commission to agents on rentals of its motorcycles with no restrictions.

The 40% commission will be available to travel agents in the United States and Canada. EagleRider has 30 owned and franchised locations in the United States, France, Mexico and Spain.

Chris McIntyre, EagleRider president, said, "We are providing this unusual incentive to travel agents as an acknowledgement and thank you for all of the business agents have directed to us the past ten years we have been in operation. We realize that agents have been losing a great deal of their commission business due to cutbacks by the airlines and others; we want to make a statement that we appreciate the travel agent community."

EagleRider's one-week rental packages range from $434 to $875. The company rents the complete new model Harley-Davidson motorcycle line, as well as its Adventure Rentals featuring all-terrain vehicles (ATV), watercraft and dirt bikes. EagleRider offers everything the motorcycle traveler requires for year-round motorcycle touring and adventure vacations.
