78-Year-Old Indianapolis Woman Will Show Racing Champions Juan Pablo Montoya And John Force What It Takes to Outperform

Castrol SYNTEC Outperforms Day to Showcase World-Renown Drivers And Motorsports Celebrities

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 24 -- The full fury of a 700-horsepower engine will echo on this September morning as a two-seater dragster approaches the starting line at Indianapolis Raceway Park, carrying the precious cargo of a 78 year-old woman clinging tightly to a dream. When the light flashes green, the only screeching will come from the tires as they seem to take flight down the black asphalt at upwards of 160 miles per hour. Eloise Overdorf will have been anticipating this ride for too long to lose her nerve. Eloise will have the support of good company as she takes to the drag strip during the Castrol SYNTEC Outperforms Day, a celebration of Castrol's motorsports heritage.

The event will bring together for the first time in North America Formula 1 racing stars Juan Pablo Montoya and Justin Wilson, NHRA drivers John Force, Tony Pedregon and Gary Densham, NHRA Sport Compact champion Jojo Callos and CASCAR driver DJ Kennington to showcase what it takes for these Castrol- sponsored drivers to outperform on and off the track. Eloise, of course, will try to give them a good run for their money, thanks to the help of the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School and Never Too Late, an Indianapolis-based organization that aspires to help make the dreams and wishes of elderly and terminally ill adults come true.

"The motorsports industry has fans of all ages and backgrounds and we are very happy to welcome Eloise to our team for this monumental event," said John Cronin, Castrol vice president of global sponsorship. "The Castrol SYNTEC Outperforms Day was organized to showcase a variety of stars from different motorsports series all in one event and demonstrate how they achieved success."

In addition to granting Eloise's wish, there will be a performance roundtable (press conference). The roundtable portion of the event will provide the media with a rare opportunity to get into the minds of several categories of motorsports celebrity drivers and compare and contrast what it takes to outperform in each racing series. FOX Sports commentator and former NASCAR crew chief Larry McReynolds will moderate the roundtable, asking Juan Pablo Montoya what it will take to outperform Michael Schumacher, John Force what it has taken to outperform everyone for so many years, and Tony Pedregon how it has felt to outperform everyone except his boss, among other questions directed at the panel. Many other exciting motorsports-focused activities will take place throughout the day, including:

-- Drag racing - The opportunity for media and Castrol customers to race
head to head against one another, for the title of "Castrol SYNTEC
Outperformer" and an opportunity to race in a Frank Hawley two-seat
     dragster
-- Team Castrol's 8,000 horsepower funny cars will be making exhibition
     passes
-- Jaguar Challenge racing simulators - Attendees will have the chance to
see what it feels like to race in a Jaguar simulator against one
     another
-- Show cars and race cars - There will be an impressive display of both
show cars and race cars, including the BMW WilliamsF1 show car, the
Jaguar show car, the SYNTEC show car, the SYNTEC sport compact racecar
     and the CASCAR racecar
