Hyundai Sales for September Set New Record

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 1, 2003 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 32,264 vehicles for the month of September setting a new record for the month. Sales were up nearly seven percent over last September. Year-to-date sales of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S. are up nearly four percent.

"Hyundai vehicles deliver the kind of value consumers are looking for," said Robert Cosmai, acting president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. "And that brings customers into the dealer's showrooms. Hyundai's record September sales were led by the compact Elantra, the midsize Sonata sedan and the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle."

"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty, which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said. "It's all part of the great Hyundai value story."
