CalCruising Introduces the Collector Car Club

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 2, 2003 -- CalCruising (www.calcruising.com), the world's second largest collector car auction site, introduces the Collector Car Club for serious car collectors. If you are tired of too many listings and too few quality vehicles on sites like eBay Motors, Hemmings and AutoTrader.com, then you will want to join this elite group of collectors.

Members of the Collector Car Club will be able to buy and sell amongst themselves in a private auction format. Members will receive assistance in selling and buying their vehicles; this will include help with postings and evaluations. In addition, members will be presented with quality collector cars that are sourced from independent parties primarily in the Southern California and other dry weather climates. These cars will be pre-qualified before going on auction and presented in a detailed format in order for members to make proper evaluations.

According to CalCruising President Michael Schriner, "We want to provide a unique and safe online club for high-end collectors who want to buy and sell the most desirable collector cars available. Members must be established collectors who are financially qualified to purchase the vehicles that are offered. We don't want to be like eBay Motors, since most serious collectors have been disappointed with their online car purchasing experiences." Only members will be able to view and bid on the vehicles. Membership will be limited to qualified individuals only. The membership fee to join is $500.

Schriner has spent the last four years building CalCruising into one of the world's largest online auction sites for classic and special interest vehicles. With nearly 10,000 members and over $210,000,000 in bidding, CalCruising has been a huge online success.
