Chrysler Group Announces New Lease Program for Its UAW and Non-Bargaining-Unit Employees

* No Monthly Payments After $2,000 One-Time Payment

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 6 -- Chrysler Group active employees can take advantage of a unique opportunity to lease a select group of 2004 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge vehicles for 12 months with one payment of $2,000 -- and no monthly payments after that -- under a new program announced today.

UAW-represented employees can utilize the one-time payment from their settlement lump-sum payment, made in conjunction with the ratification of the 2003-2007 UAW-DaimlerChrysler Collective Bargaining Agreement. Also eligible for the program are non-bargaining-unit professional and administrative employees.

The eligible vehicles are popularly equipped models of the 2004 Chrysler Sebring Sedan, Dodge Stratus Sedan SXT, Dakota Regular Cab SXT pickup truck and Jeep Wrangler X. The nation-wide program is open to active DaimlerChrysler UAW employees and non-bargaining employees from October 6 through November 10.

"This unique program rewards our hard-working Chrysler Group employees by saving them thousands of dollars on a new-vehicle lease," said Gary Dilts, Senior Vice President -- Sales. "It will also boost the local economies in the cities where our employees are concentrated."
