TULSA, Okla., Dec. 1 -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation's new CITGO SUPERGARD Synthetic Motor Oil is the perfect way to spoil today's high-performance passenger car, van, SUV and light truck engines. Formulated to meet the latest stringent automotive specifications, SUPERGARD Synthetic provides a level of protection few motor oils can achieve.

Available in SAE 5W-30 and 10W-30 viscosity grades, SUPERGARD Synthetic forms a barrier against varnish, sludge, rust, soot, oxidized fuel and other contaminants that can rob a turbo- or super-charged engine of performance. With high-temperature/high-shear characteristics far above conventional motor oils, SUPERGARD Synthetic can also help neutralize acid, reduce wear and extend engine life.
