2004 North American International Auto Show Industry Preview Days Attendance Reaches more than 33,000

DETROIT, Jan. 12, 2004 -- The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) today announced that more than 33,000 people attended the 2004 Industry Preview Days, January 7 and 8, a nearly 20 percent increase from the 2003 Industry Preview Days. Attendees represented more than 2,000 companies and nearly 20 countries.

On Wednesday, WJR 760 AM brought back the popular panel discussion "The Sum of Three," moderated once again by Paul W. Smith and featuring top automotive executives.

On Thursday, WWJ Newsradio 950 teamed with AutoBeat Daily for "Inside the Concept Car," featuring top executives from leading automotive suppliers.

Industry Preview Days are an exclusive opportunity for companies in the automotive industry to invite key contacts, suppliers and employees to preview the NAIAS before the show opens to the public.

Public Days for NAIAS 2004 are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, through Jan. 18. On Monday, January 19, the Show is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be no admittance one hour in advance of closing each day.
