EVERNHAM MOTORSPORTS HELPS PUT BLOOD CANCER AWARENESS IN HIGH GEAR

Bill Elliott to drive a specially designed car in the Bud Shootout

STATESVILLE, NC - Evernham Motorsports owner Ray Evernham announced
today that his charity foundation, Racing For A Reason, is expanding its
relationship with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to a national level to
raise awareness about the critical need to find cures for leukemia,
lymphoma and myeloma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society logo will be
displayed on the Evernham Motorsports #91 Dodge that Bill Elliott will
drive in the Bud Shootout this Saturday, February 7, at the Daytona
International Speedway.

"We started the Racing For A Reason Foundation in 1993 to
help benefit great organizations like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,"
said Evernham. "I've had a strong association with The Society for over
ten years, predominately with their Charlotte (NC) chapter. We recently
initiated discussions with them to explore ways to grow our relationship
and we quickly identified some exciting opportunities. This weekend is
just the first step."

"Ray Evernham and Bill Elliott are bringing awareness about the need to
find cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma to the fast lane and we're
thrilled," said Dwayne Howell, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's
President and C.E.O. "We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to
connect with NASCAR fans and encourage them to join our efforts."

Ray Evernham says his company will continue to explore new
programs with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. "We race all over the
country and they have chapters in a lot of the same areas," he said.
"If we can build programs that truly benefit their organization we're
going to do that. I think it is important that our company be involved
in good causes."

Bill Elliott said he is also pleased to be participating in this
program. "This is a great cause and I'm glad to be involved with The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This organization helps a lot of people
and we hope this raises the awareness of what they do."

In only it's third season, Evernham Motorsports has clearly established
itself as one of the top racing organization in motorsports. This year,
the Dodge sponsored #9 and #19 cars will be driven by rookie Kasey Kahne
and Jeremy Mayfield, respectively. The team's veteran driver, NASCAR
legend Bill Elliott, will drive a select schedule this season.
