Agro Management Group and Sterling Bio-Technologies' Bio-Based Engine Oil Contender for ``World's Best Technology''

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Feb. 1, 20041, 2004--The World's Best Technologies Showcase (WBT) (www.WBT04.com) announced today that Agro Management Group's bio-based engine lubricant technology used in Sterling Grade(TM) lubricant products has been selected as one of the 25 World's Best Technologies for 2004.

Produced by the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds and the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer, the WBT is an international event showcasing seed and pre-seed stage technologies developed at the nation's top universities, federal labs, and federally supported research and development institutions. The last WBT showcased 37 world-class technologies to over 60 seed funds and corporate investors. Those exhibitors have raised $24 Million and three were named to Fortune Magazine's list of hottest startups of 2002.

Agro's CEO, Jim Lambert, commented: "The selection of our bio-based engine lubricants as a showcase technology demonstrates increasing market demand for renewable products. Agro Management Group is honored to have our technology included by the WBT within the ranks of 'World's Best'."

After ten years of research, development and testing, Agro joined forces with Sterling Bio-Technologies Corporation to market bio-based engine lubricants under the Sterling Grade(TM) brand name throughout North America. The first commercial-scale production of Sterling Grade(TM) engine oil for automotive and small engine applications is scheduled to be completed in early March 2004.

The development of Agro's patented technology has been supported by funding from the USDA, United Soybean Board, DOE and private investors. Tests conducted by recognized third-party laboratories demonstrate key benefits of Agro's bio-based lubricants in comparison to petroleum-based lubricants, including reduced engine wear and significant reductions in environmentally harmful tailpipe emissions.

About Agro Management Group, Inc.

Agro Management Group, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has received one patent for its proprietary vegetable oil lubricants process and another for utilization in internal combustion engines. Long recognized as a source of superior properties for lubricants, prior to Agro's break-through research, bio-based oils lacked the oxidative stability needed for use in a high-temperature crankcase environment. Agro is currently working with the U.S. Navy and DOD under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to develop technology for diesel engines.
