Chrysler partners with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship to Honor Local 'Apprentice' with the First Chrysler 300C Young Entrepreneur Grant

CHICAGO, Feb. 18 -- Chrysler will host in Chicago its first of four exclusive "300C Suite" viewing and networking receptions featuring cast members from the NBC hit reality-drama "The Apprentice." The 300C Suite is designed to celebrate entrepreneurial spirit across the nation as well as the brand's sponsorship of the show and the arrival of the all-new Chrysler 300C.

The first exclusive 300C Suite, named after the new luxurious 2005 Chrysler 300 series of vehicles, will kick off in Chicago on Thursday, February 19. The event will provide a place for Chicago's entrepreneurs to network, watch the show and see who will be the next "Apprentice" fired by Mr. Trump.

Keeping with the theme of rewarding ambition, Chrysler has partnered with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) to create the Chrysler 300C Young Entrepreneur Grant. NFTE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to teach entrepreneurship to low-income young people so they can become economically productive members of society by improving their academic, business, technology and life skills. The Chrysler 300C Young Entrepreneur Grant will award $10,000 to a young local Chicago entrepreneur with the best new business plan.

"The Chrysler 300 series, just like 'The Apprentice,' is all about the power play," said Jeff Bell, Vice President - Chrysler. "In celebration of the return of the great American car and Chicago's entrepreneurial spirit, we are helping a local entrepreneur realize their business dream. Just as Donald Trump mentioned in a recent episode, it's important in business to give back and that's what we are doing with the Chrysler 300C Young Entrepreneur Grant."

Chrysler is the exclusive automotive sponsor of "The Apprentice" and has given viewers the opportunity to log on to www.nbc.com to choose one of four Chrysler vehicles to be given to the winning apprentice during the season finale. The choices include the all-new 2005 Chrysler 300, the new convertible Crossfire Roadster, the Chrysler Pacifica and the convertible Chrysler PT Cruiser. Visitors to the site will also be entered in the Chrysler/Apprentice Sweepstakes for the chance to win the vehicle selected.

Each week, "The Apprentice" follows a group of highly motivated and ambitious young entrepreneurs competing for the opportunity to become the protege of Donald Trump. Described as the ultimate job interview, "The Apprentice" is the first reality drama to focus on surviving in the fast-paced world of business. The show debuted in January to high ratings and will conclude later this spring.

The Chrysler 300C is the flagship of Chrysler's new 300 series of vehicles. Signaling the return of the great American car, the Chrysler 300 series features an entirely new shape based on the company's all-new rear- wheel drive architecture, an available 5.7-liter HEMI(R) V-8 engine, best-in-class interior space and premium features all starting at $23,595 (including destination). The new 2005 Chrysler 300 series will arrive in dealerships in the spring.
