WHY:
With approximately 70,000 visitors a year, the North Fork
Campground is the largest off-highway vehicle destination in
Northern California and is considered a vital component of the
Fout Springs OHV recreation complex. The "Trough Fire" caused
significant damage to trees, vegetation and infrastructure of
the site.
