Other items of note on the list include the lower ranking of the Corvette
on both lists. Normally a car that ranks higher, the Corvette has probably
fallen in rank in anticipation of the totally new redesigned 2005 model
coming out in August. German vehicles continue to show strength on both
lists with their reputation for performance and reliability. Mercedes had
shown some weakness in the past few months but seems to be making a
comeback as a leasing choice.
"Leasing can be a good way to eliminate negative equity that traditional
financing can result in," remarks Tarry Shebesta, president and owner of
ACS. "The higher quality vehicles on these lists hold their value well and
educated consumers are taking advantage of it by choosing to lease."
LeaseCompare.com, as the name suggests, provides a tool to instantly
evaluate leasing options from a number of sources. Customers can lock in
the lease quote they like and apply for credit online. As an independent
leasing company, ACS facilitates the entire leasing process.
