Fourteenth Annual Father's Day Auto Show Rolls into Yountville

YOUNTVILLE, Calif.--May 6, 2004--Car connoisseurs of all ages are invited to spend Father's Day weekend in Napa Valley. Vintage 1870 in Yountville will celebrate the "art of the driving machine" at its 14th Annual Father's Day Invitational Auto Show on Sunday, June 20, 2004, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The auto show is a non-competitive, open-class invitational exhibition featuring national auto show champions, local favorites and unique collector cars. More than 90 early and late model autos spanning 80 years of production will be represented in the show, including Ford, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, M.G., Packard, Pierce Arrow and more. Auto entries are by invitation only.

Vintage 1870 is an historic 130 year-old restored winery complex surrounded by gardens and meandering cobblestone walkways. At the auto show, attendees can enjoy a variety of wine country dining choices from either Pacific Blues Cafe, Cucina a' la Carte, Cafe Kinyon or Compadres Bar & Grill's award-winning margarita cabana and authentic Mexican cuisine. Visitors may also enjoy wine tasting and shopping at the Vintage 1870 tasting cellar and 36 specialty stores. Vintage 1870 is located just 1 hour northeast of San Francisco at 6525 Washington Street in Yountville, Napa Valley. Shopping complex hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

Best known for its country charm and cosmopolitan luxuries, Yountville is a charming one-mile walking town, surrounded by rolling foothills and rich countrysides. Located along the 26-mile route from Napa to Calistoga, the town was founded in 1855 by George C. Yount.
