KTM and GE's Retail Sales Finance Unit Sign Exclusive Agreement

ST. PAUL, Minn.--Oct. 2, 20044, 2004--The Retail Sales Finance unit of GE Consumer Finance and KTM North America today announced an exclusive multi-year renewal agreement to provide KTM Motorcycle enthusiasts in North America with financing through closed-end loans and a branded credit program.

The KTM CARD Program, as well as the newly implemented Installment Program, is offered through a network of 385 independently owned KTM dealerships throughout North America. Approved customers can enjoy special credit promotions, discounts and dealer rebates, and instant credit decisions for KTM motorcycles and KTM accessory purchases, including KTM's exclusive line of Hard Equipment, apparel and OE parts.

"We have been working with KTM since 2002 to provide customer and dealer financing solutions and we are pleased to make the partnership exclusive," said Greg Pierce, vice president, Client Development, for Retail Sales Finance, part of GE Consumer Finance. "KTM has a strong racing legacy and loyal customer following. We want to make it easy for these riders to have the necessary gear to compete and ride safely."

KTM specializes in off-road and adventure sportmotorcycles, with a comprehensive line of youth-size sport minicycles and an emerging line of on-road motorcycles. The company recently signed agreements with GE Commercial Finance and GE Auto Warranty Services to support its growth.
