Forensic Safety Expert Raises Issue on Cargo Injuries in Passenger Vehicles

    Independent Firm Petitions NHTSA to Raise Safety Standards in U.S.

   Who:      Alan Cantor, Crash Safety Engineer and Founder of ARCCA,
             Incorporated.  ARCCA is a nationally recognized independent
             source for analyzing and communicating complex issues, such as
             improving crash survival.

   What:     Provides commentary on a recently-completed independent effort
             on the subject of "Cargo Retention Failure" in passenger
             vehicles.  As a result, ARCCA has petitioned the National
             Highway Traffic Safety Administration for all U.S. auto
             manufacturers to adopt the United Nations standards for
             occupant protection from cargo. (A copy of the petition letter

   When:     Beginning on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, following the airing
             of a network television news "consumer watch" segment aired on
             CBS in which Mr. Cantor discussed his team's assessment of rear
             seats of many U.S. manufactured passenger vehicles not being
             strong enough to contain cargo stored in trunks during vehicle
             impact.

             will conduct interviews live, in-person or via telephone based
             on availability.  ARCCA's test facility is located in
             Philadelphia.  Also, other special interview requests will be
             considered.
