Lexus Announces Pricing on New 2006 GS Sedan and Price Increase on 2005 Models

TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 4, 2005 -- Lexus announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the all-new 2006 GS 300 and GS 430 luxury sports sedans. The GS 300 rear-wheel drive starts at $42,900 and $44,850 for the GS 300 all-wheel drive with standard run-flat tires. The MSRP for the GS 430 starts at $51,125.

All GS models will include standard features such as leather and memory package with seat heaters, Smart Access system, in-dash CD changer, HID headlamps, curtain and knee airbags, wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel and shift knob, 17-inch wheels on GS 300 and 18-inch wheels on the GS 430. The new Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system is standard on the GS 430.

Lexus also announced a price increase on all 2005 models. The MSRP for the LS 430 flagship sedan will increase by 1.0%, or $550, to $56,225. The SC 430 luxury coupe will increase by 0.6%, or $400, to $63,575. The ES 330 will increase by 0.6%, or $200, to $32,175. The IS 300 and IS SportCross will increase by 1.0%, or $300, to $31,105 for the automatic transmission and SportCross models, and $29,735 for the manual transmission model.

The MSRP for Lexus' full-capability luxury SUV, the LX 470, will increase by 0.7 percent, or $450, to $65,225. The GX 470 mid-size luxury utility vehicle will increase by 1.0 percent, or $450, to $46,225. The popular RX 330 luxury SUV will increase by $250, a 0.7 percent change, to $36,025 for the front-wheel drive model and $37,425 for the all-wheel drive. All price changes are effective February 7.
